Read Romans 7:18-20. Can you relate to Paul’s struggle—wanting to do good but still falling into sin? How have you seen this play out in your life?
What specific ways have you felt "battered by sin” or “complicit in sin”—through pain, loss, or struggles in your relationships?
Read 2 Corinthians 5:21. How does it make you feel to know that Jesus took on your sin to restore your relationship with God? Why is this good news?
Do you find it easy or difficult to see God as a "safe harbor" where you can be completely honest about your struggles? Why?
