Volunteer Opportunities
We believe that scripture teaches that each follower of Jesus has something unique to offer the church (1 Corinthians 12:7-11, Romans 12:6-8), for encouragement and edification. This is why we highly value our volunteers, and seek to offer opportunities for those in the church to be a part of building up the body of Christ in our local context.
Below, you will find a list of our current ministry teams and leaders along with opportunities to learn more about how you can be a part of serving at Grace Hill Church!
Grace Hill Kids
Our kids ministry is growing all the time and we are looking for new volunteers to help disciple the kids in our community, from 6 months - 6th grade. Our current ministry leader is Lindsay Winthers.
Women’s Ministry
The Women’s Ministry currently offers monthly gatherings that emphasize fellowship and discipleship through relationship. Our ministry leaders are currently Kathleen Ferris and Mallory Frazer.
Men’s Ministry
Our Men’s Ministry is currently on hiatus as we seek a volunteer to oversee our monthly men’s breakfasts. Our current ministry leaders are Allan McCullough and Evan Snyder.
Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Ministry currently meets to pray for our church, occasionally serves to pray with church attendees following our morning service, and handles prayer requests that are submitted through our website or other forms of submission.Our ministry leader is currently Kathleen Ferris.
Hospitality Ministry
Our hospitality ministry currently helps ensure that our church members and new guests are welcomed and honored by providing purchased or homemade treats before our service or at functions such as family meals. Our current ministry leaders are Melanie Tatum and Peter von Kahle.
Connect Team
Our Connect Team serves to welcome church attendees, create a warm environment for those coming to church, overseeing the coffee station, and more. Our current ministry leader is Evan Snyder.
Security Team
Our security team currently serves by walking the hallways during our Sunday service to ensure our church is secure. Our ministry leader is currently Evan Snyder.
Set Up + Tear Down Team
Our set up / tear down team currently serves by helping set up and tear down the auditorium on Sunday mornings, before and after our service. It also includes driving our trailer of equipment. Our current ministry leaders are Derek Halvorsen and Megan Holland.
Production Team
Our production ministry currently operates to support our Sunday morning services in the following positions: camera operator, Livestream Co-ordinator, Pro-Presenter Specialist, and Sound Engineer. Our current ministry leader is Nick LaMont.
Worship Ministry
Our worship ministry currently serves on Sunday mornings and at other events as needed by leading the church in corporate worship. Our current ministry leader is Melody von Kahle.
Creative Team
Our creative team currently serves the church by collaborating to think creatively about our visual and physical design needs, such as graphics, physical backdrops, brainstorming various needs throughout the year, and more. Our current ministry leader is Melody von Kahle.
