Proverbs 3:9-10

1. Read Proverbs 3:9-10. What does it mean to honor the Lord? What does it mean to give the Lord our firstfruits?

2. Read the following Scriptures and discuss the ways in which God’s people are called to fund their place of worship: • Exodus 35 • 2 Chronicles 31:4 • 1 Corinthinas 9:13-14 • 1 Timothy 5:17-18

3. Read the following Scriptures and discuss the amount that we should give to our local church: • 2 Corinthians 9:6-15 • Luke 21:1-4

4. Read Matthew 19:16-24. Why was the rich man sad at Jesus’ words? What did this man trust in most to give Him life and joy?

5. In Proverbs 3:9-10, what does it mean that God will fill our barns and our vats? Is it true that what receives our firstfruits is what we trust in the most to give us life and joy?

6. What does it look like for you to offer your firstfruits to the Lord when it comes to your money?
